The digital 4k format of the RED One camera not only creates a streamlined workflow but also provides CLAi with the opportunity to color correct and manipulate any image that is under or over exposed in post, cutting out the need for re-shoots.
Shooting with the RED One camera produces stellar digital 4k location or studio footage, and when in post-production it can provide advantages over traditional film and video. RAW files allow us to alter the footage in post-production, making changes one only dreams about normally - correcting overexposure and underexposure, modifying white balance and tint, and all of those other controls previously lost once you start recording. The RED One Post-production editing system allows for image reconstruction with a degree of control never seen before. Aside from the technology and workflow, the post-production challenge is exactly the same as for any other editing. With our years of experience and backgrounds in documentary and film production and post-production we really do know how to edit you RED programs.
